About 24 hours ago, a man in an office took out a hole punch— one of the very sturdy two-hole punchers, not a handheld one hole puncher— and put a hole through my Qatari Identification card.

Momos are Nepali dumplings
What will I miss most about Qatar? Probably the momos. No joke. If you don’t know what a momo is, I highly suggest that in the time of quarantine, you find your local Nepali spot, or if you’re in a pinch, check your Indian options, and order the momos.

Answer: If all goes well, we will fly out of Qatar at 7:45am on June 1st.
After 8 years, I am dumping Qatar
After nearly 8 years (Aug 2012-June 2020), I am moving home. In a twist I did not expect in 2012, I will be moving home with a wife and child.
